Exclusive Nordic distribution agreement

STgenetics® and VikingGenetics™ announce exclusive Nordic distribution agreement

Effective September 1, 2024, STgenetics® and VikingGenetics™ are pleased to announce an official and exclusive distribution agreement of North American genetics in the Nordic region. Moving forward, STgenetics®’ semen doses will be available in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden exclusively via VikingDanmark, Faba and Växa.

“This strategic distribution agreement between STgenetics® and VikingGenetics™ is the first step in opening doors for genetic marketing opportunities for both companies,” says Louis Prange, STgenetics® Vice President of International Sales. “VikingGenetics™ will now be the exclusive distributor of STgenetics® North American genetics in the Nordic market, adding variety to the genetic portfolio available to dairy farmers in these countries to fulfill the market’s changing demands.”


Lars Nielsen, VikingGenetics™’s Chief Breeding & Production Officer, says, “We are happy to add STgenetics® to our range of genetic offerings and look forward to providing Nordic farmers with highly renowned North American genetics, products, and programs.”

Nielsen and Prange also add that this agreement only extends to the distribution of semen doses.
